Ready to kick-start the festive season? Join us for Barking Riverside’s Winter Warm Up.
Barking Riverside is hosting a Winter Warm Up event at the brand-new Barking Riverside Visitor Centre in Station Square. Packed full of festive fun, including a professional gift-wrapping station, crafts, music, a cocktail bar and grazing boats, the Winter Warm Up will truly get you into the holiday spirit.
Please note: Guests must be over the age of 18 to attend. Some parts of the event will be outdoors so please come dressed suitably for the weather.
🌟 Event Highlights
Festive Food and Drink
You will be welcomed by a free drink from on-site bar Meetini.
The Meetini team will continue shaking up cocktails, warming mulled wine and serving beer and soft drinks for guests to purchase throughout the evening.
Delicious grazing boats will be available from Olive and Pickle. These are single serving platters of cheeses, crackers, fruits and olives. Vegan options will be available.
Gift Wrapping Station
Say goodbye to the stress of last-minute gift wrapping! Our professional gift wrappers, Let’s Get It Wrapped, will be on-hand to work their magic on your Christmas presents. Simply bring your unwrapped gifts with you and they will sort the rest.
Crafts Corner
Barking Riverside-based House of Loulee will lead workshops to help you decorate your own festive baubles to take home.
DJ
The Winter Warm Up will be soundtracked by DJ ‘The King’s Decree’, playing party season tunes to boogie along to.

Location: Barking Riverside Visitor Centre, Station Square (ground floor of the Barking Riverside Overground Station)

Tickets (£7) must be booked in advance.
Each ticket includes professional present wrapping, crafts with House of Loulee, one free drink from Meetini, and one free grazing boat.
This event is for guests aged 18+ only.
Please note that some parts of the event will be outdoors, and you may need to queue outside upon arrival. So, dress warmly and be prepared for the weather.

Getting here:
The Visitor Centre is on the ground floor of the Barking Riverside Overground Station. It can be reached via the Barking Riverside to Gospel Oak Overground line, or with the District, Hammersmith & City, and c2c lines via an interchange at Barking station.
It can also be reached by the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers service, the EL1 bus or via the new network of cycle paths including Cycleway 42. As local parking is limited, it is suggested that guests arrive via public transport.
