The Barking Riverside London Board comprises of representatives of our shareholders, L&Q and GLA who meet quarterly to oversee the running of the project, approve policies, budgets and make key decisions concerning larger more complex issues.

What does your role involve?

I have worked at L&Q for over 20 years and joined the Trust after completing a degree in Housing. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and have led on a number of major regeneration projects across London.

Ed Farnsworth

Director of Business Planning & Development Finance, L&Q

What does your role involve?

I have worked at L&Q for 13 years in various Finance roles and currently hold the role of the Director of Business Planning and Development Finance, reporting to the Group Finance Director. I lead a team of finance professionals, responsible for financial reporting and business partnering on the L&Q Group’s Development and Sales activities; alongside the production of L&Q’s long term financial plan and financial strategy. I have also recently taken on responsibility for leading the Finance function of Gallagher Estates, L&Q’s strategic land business.

David Lunts

Executive Director for Housing and Land, GLA

What does your role involve?

I lead the Mayor's housing, land and development functions. I was previously the Executive Director for London at the Homes and Communities Agency and before that I was the GLA Executive Director with responsibility for planning, regeneration, housing and environmental policy.

Head of Area (North East London), GLA

What does your role involve?

I lead the North East Area team in the GLA’s Housing and Land directorate. I oversee its affordable homes programme and projects, and maintains the relationships with Registered Provider (RP) partners, the boroughs and other stakeholders. I also manage major projects including Barking Riverside and Blackwall Reach, and a portfolio of RP partners that includes L&Q, One Housing Group and Swan Housing Association.

Vicky Savage

London Managing Director, L&Q

What does your role involve?

I lead L&Q’s Development and Sales Division in London. My role includes responsibility for all of our development activity in the capital, including joint ventures and partnerships, estate regeneration and sales. I also have oversight of our innovative in-house construction operations. I am L&Q’s lead director in the Build London Partnership, a ground-breaking programme to help SME housing associations unlock small sites across the city. Outside of L&Q, I chair the G15 Development Directors Group, helping to bring the UK’s largest housing associations together to tackle common issues together.
